Ronna Romney McDaniel the Republican National Committee chair defends the President's action of asking FBI agent who he voted during the presidential election. This she did by saying “He is certainly not going around to every single FBI agent and saying, 'Did you vote for me?'".

"I ask people who they vote for sometimes," McDaniel said on CNN’s New Day. "I think it is just trying to get to know somebody."
The Washington Post reported Tuesday that Trump asked McCabe about his vote in May during a “get-to-know-you” meeting. McCabe became acting director after the president fired former FBI Director James Comey. McCabe told Trump he didn’t vote.
McDaniel said that Trump was just being conversational and that he doesn't demand that information from everyone in government.

“He is certainly not going around to every single FBI agent and saying, 'Did you vote for me?'" McDaniel said. "I mean, this is a president who’s just getting to know people, and that’s part of those conversations.”
